HE Chhour Sopanha, Royal Government Delegate in Charge of the Director General of the National Social Assistance Fund, led a Cambodian delegation to the ASEAN Social Security Association (ASSA) High-Level Meeting on Social Protection during the Fight Against Covid-19 and its next steps after the pandemic was relieved. This high-level meeting is a forum to share experiences in implementing the social security system in the context of Covid-19, in which ASEAN institutions expressed their achievements as well as expectations for further work progress in building a comprehensive social protection system that is easy to adapt, flexible, and respond to catastrophic health crises.
