On November 24, 2022, at the 39th Meeting of the ASEAN Social Security Association (ASSA), the National Social Assistance Fund, represented by the Director General of the National Social Assistance Fund, received the Outstanding Practice Award for implementing cash assistance programs for poor families during When Kovid-19 from the Board of Directors of the ASEAN Social Security Association (ASSA) received the award of the National Social Assistance Fund from the National Social Security Council, it is a matter of pride for the National Social Assistance Fund to receive this award and recognition. For the first time, this institution was established in March 2022 by sub-decree No. 68 dated March 31, 2022 (Luang Prabang province, Lao People’s Democratic Republic).
